Of Music Matters

Music matters~~!!

Hey all!
As I said in my earlier posts, I promised to do a post on music matters if i went.

AND I DID!

Yes, it would have been stupid of me to not go when it was a free concert.
However I really went against my parents to attend it so I sulked the whole friday when I was told I couldnt go for the last days of MM.

But anyways, I managed to catch Flumpool!
Yes. They were the band that kick-started the 'J-Rock matters' segment and I must say they were awesome too.
I arrived just on time so there wasn't really much space to stand so I just stood by the side of the stage because I thought 'Why cram at the center when you can't see them at all?'
And I indeed chose the best spot cuz the band went up the stage from where I stood.

Flumpool from my side

The setlist for flumpool was very short which is understandable because they only had about 45mins to perform them but they were awesome.
They sang Kakusei Identity, Touch,  Hana ni nare, OAOA (A song that is originally from the famous Taiwanese band Mayday) and Answer.
I didn't really know the first two songs because I think it was from their new album and I havent got around listening to it but it was really exciting to see flumpool right before my eyes.
Not to mention Genki-san kept looking to the side of the stage to try and hype us up.
[Which he definitely did cuz people screamed whenever he made an action to tell us to make more noise]
Also, the drum solo seiji-san did was phew...It blew my mind. I couldnt stop shaking my head and tapping my feet when he did those mad beats.. And it was awkward for me because nobody was like hyped up where I was standing,
It could be because the speakers were facing away from us so..yeah I couldnt hear the songs well too.
But I enjoyed seeing them on stage and I was happy that I got to see them right in front of me.
However I wished that I wasn't too starstruck and could have said something to them. That would beat me smiling idiotically at them. (but it could be because I saw genki-san up close. I really just couldn't move or say a word.)
Got clear/Zoomed shot of Genki-san jaming from the side

So I apart from flumpool I couldnt catch any other artists because my parents wouldn't allow me to stay out any time after 11pm. (Which is utterly ridiculous considering the fact that I'm old enough but lets just not go there)
So I caught the rest of the concert on youtube.
Faber drive was cool as well and they performed their hit song 'tongue tied' that really made me regret not throwing my phone into the clarke quay river and ignoring my parents.

Genki-san getting off stage :D
Ryuta-san and Seiji-san going off.
Didnt get to take Kazuki-san though.
(Bt he did slim down a bit btw)

[Sorry for the poor quality of of photos, my phone dosent like taking pictures in the dark. I tried photoshop-ing the pics above :)]

On friday, I watched the concert on youtube again.
M.I.B was fabulous. How I wished I got to see them live. Their energy on stage was no joke. I however I was not sure if kangnam's mic was not working or he was sick and not singing but I couldnt hear his voice.
But overall really really loved their performance.

Overall last week was a week filled with events. From the youtube fanfest to social star awards to music matters. We had so many online celebrities on our shore and seriously these events reflect how our era has moved. I mean these people who came to Singapore got famous through youtube an online platform and in the past when we said 'famous celebrities' we would immediately think singers/actors/actresses on television. But people these days refer to famous people on youtube as 'celebrities' as well.
I'm not sure about you but I am just in awe of how times have changed. And how time has given so much opportunities and unknown talent to these people.

Ok then till my next post

Cheers :)
[P.s Here are videos of the performance from Music Matters that I personally enjoyed]

Music Fridays: The Voice

Hey all!
For this week's Music friday, I'm going to post clips oof my fave performances from this singing competition called "The Voice"

Basically, they have The Voice UK, The Voice USA, The Voice Korea, The Voice Australia and many others which I think I haven't come across yet.
However I have been watching the voice UK season2 and I must say they are amazing singers.
I've been wanting to watching this show since I went to Australia and saw the advertisement for it.
And finally 2 weeks back I started to watch it.

The voice's audition works in a way that the judges aren't able to see who is singing as their seats are turned around. If the judges are curious and want that contestant they would then press the button.
If more then 1 judge turns around, the contestant gets to choose which judge they would want as their coach.

There are many awesome and surprising singers and here are just some contestants that are my favorite.

From The Voice UK Season 2:

The Voice Australia Season 2:

The shows are really worth watching so if you have time, please do check 'em out.
My most fave from that whole list would be jordan lee davis..his vocals are really amazing.
After I heard it I couldnt help but to hit the replay button over and over again.
Thats why they say, don't judge a book by its cover.
And this show does just the opposite of that phrase.
They judge a book by its contents.

Well thats all I have for today!

Have an awesome weekend ahead

Cheers :)

Actually its a good thing I'm working because...
Its near to where I want to go tonight!

featuring a mixture of underground bands and bands that are known.

The list of performers for the next 2 days can be found here

I probably will head down tonight because Flumpool is performing.
I am considering whether I should go tomorrow as well because
alot more artists are performing.

Anyways if I do succeed in going I will post up some pictures here

Hope you guys have an awesome day ahead,
to my singaporean readers its vesak day tomorrow!
So a few more hours to a long weekend!!

Another adventure to the museum.

Today marked the last day of school and into our study break.
And it was also the day we went to visit the National Museum of Singapore.
Located next to SMU, it was an hour long journey to reach there from my school.

Many people would think that museums are boring and tend to have little interest in them.
However to me I think we must at least once visit the museum to look back on how different things are.
From then and now. Aren't we all curious?
Furthermore, its a pretty quiet place hence you can think a lot when you are there.
Though the 'Living Galleries' in the museum will barely be changed,
there will always be a special exhibit at the basement worth going.

This is my 2nd time visiting this museum with the school and I must say every journey there
has been fun.
It made me discover new things and it is nice to read the descriptions of how things were like in the past.
This time, the special exhibition I went to was 'Being Together -Family & Portraits-Photography with John Clang.
This is one of the most emotional exhibit I have been to next to the one I went at the Changi memorial museum.
It displays family portraits in a whole different way.
If you have a family working overseas, married to a person of a different race that resulted you to shift away from home  or  have gone overseas to study, I'm sure you can relate to these photographs.

There were walls of 'family portraits' that was depicted in a new technological way.
By using skype, an image of the family in Singapore was projected onto a white wall and the family away from home filled the empty spot.
As I walked down the line looking through each pictures I couldnt help but to tear up and find a dark corner (which was pretty easy because the hall is pretty dark) to wipe my tears.
There was a video of a family chatting through skype and how they are updated across this portal.
Emotions really rushed through me then because I used to do this with my maternal grandparents and my cousins, uncle and aunt.
Then, technology was not as good as it was today. Our skype frequently got cut because of our small server but we always tried our best to connect and talk to each other.
Occasionally, as my grandmother and I talked, my youngest cousin there would pop up and talk to me.
How I miss him so much and how i missed my grandparents as well.
As days grew longer and my major exams came, we did not frequently video call as we did before and soon after death came knocking on their doors.

As I starred at a picture of a family with mixed parents in that family portrait i thought, will that young girl feel how i feel? Will she feel sad and lost because as much you want to meet your other family it is so hard.
Unless you are wealthy, you can't see your grandparents that you are far from even if you want to. This is why I am always envious of my other friends and wonder why they don't visit their grandparents often when they are just around the corner.
I too wish that I had taken such family portrait with my maternal family before things went wrong and before they left.

Overall this exhibit really moved me and made me think of what i could have done and how family is indeed important. No matter how much we quarrel, fight or yell at each other they are our safety nets, our home.
You may travel far away from them but one day you will turn back and think why did I do that? How is everyone doing? What is happening? If you think that you will be connected because there is such a thing as internet, it is not. There will be days when you will get so busy that you will push the thoughts of contacting your family away because you are too tired and you have many other things to complete.

I guess this was an eye-opener and I encourage anyone who has the time to go take a look at the exhibit because as every exhibits there, each artifact means differently to different people.

Cheers.

Music Fridays: Live Performances

So I have decided,
that maybe it would be nice to have a little corner on fridays to showcase
the music I've found over the week or some awesome stuffs I've found on the web.
I mean cuz its 10 times better then reading about my day isn't it?
(I can see some people nodding their heads)

For this week, I'll be sharing with you guys my fave Live performances so far :D
Some I have found over the past week and some I have been watching since I found a few weeks back.

In my effective presentation skills class, my facilitator told us to use the space you have to engage your audience and this performance pretty much used their "space".
From the normal stage on the ground, they brought it up.
Really love this performance because its different and like the song their lives are so upbeat that it makes you want to jump up with them.

This was the first acoustic version of "my songs know what you did in the dark" I came across
and I found myself going back just to listen to patrick's voice. Love this acoustic version and it makes
the song more unique then it already is.

If you read my past posts, I'm sure you remember me linking this video and here I am putting it up here again. I am just in awe on how he managed to make such an upbeat song becoming soothing like it is portrayed here. Foxes's vocal are amazing as well and she can really pull off this song without any auto-tune what-so-ever.

The script is another amazing band I love and this song was what made The script big. This live version of "The man who can't be moved" gave me goosebumps. When the audience started to sing the first part,
ho my gosh I felt amazed. I'm always amazed and enjoy the audience singing to the band. Its also something I personally experience but, though we all, the audience sing in different tones or shout the lyrics, we somehow all harmonize and it just sounds amazing.

The last video would be from paramore. Beautiful Hayley will stay beautiful. Though she has grown from her "misery business" days her/their performances are something that will never change. Energetic, powerful and electrifying. Though their songs are changing to be more upbeat they still carry out a show "paramore style" and I love it. Still into you is very different from the songs they make and the first time I heard I was like "mehh" but now its kind of addictive. The lyrics are nice and the beats of the song is just cute in a way that makes you feel like your really into someone.

So that was my music friday videos.
I hope you enjoy these performances as I do and do drop me a message if you enjoyed it ;D

Have an awesome weekend cuz I definitely will.
I'm going to be watching Star Trek:into the darkness with my 'awesome' buddies on Saturday.

Cheers!

Of the video 'to those nights' and other rambles.

Hey people!
Whats up!

Well, nothings up for me and everything is the same...but...
today I will be writing my thoughts based on this video I recently watched from Wongfu Productions.

Wong Fu Productions. I really really salute them for making such amazing short films/videos everytime.
The stories in their videos are truly inspiring and realistic.
At times, or most of the times at least it can allow us to relate to it.
I wish I could write stories like they do
and all I can really say is that the videos they make are very 'fresh'.
If I were to truly pursue the path I am currently studying,
I would really love to do something like this.

Anyways so,
the most recent video they released was 'To Those Nights'.
"To celebrate,To forget, To remember"
These were the main key points in the video about drinking.
Drinking to those nights basically.
What I liked about this video was that it has such a simple plot but an awesome punchline.

I mean when we drink, don't we normally drink for those reasons?
The things we encounter when we are drunk can hardly be remembered.
But only with alcohol in our system can we truly say what we want to.
Feel the emotions we really feel.
And basically be human.

I for one have personally started to love to drink.
Though I only start drinking after the legal age (which was a year ago),
I found out how fun yet sorrowful a drink can be.

Drinking with your friends is the best.
Celebrating the end of a term or a birthday.
Drinking alone is sad,
because I tend to drink alone when I want to forget and be stress free for a while.

I'm not saying it is good to drink nor am I saying its bad.
However sometimes, we need to escape and be ourselves to find out what we truly want.
Through a drink, things at times can be clearer to you.
And at times it can relief your worries.

So, do check out the video,
the way they portray 'drinking' is very interesting
and makes you ponder upon how you have been when you drink.
Do you drink to celebrate or to forget or to remember?

Cheers~~

The darkest place we can go.
The darkest thoughts we can sought.
The darkest nights we can go through yet see tommorow.
What gives me the will to see the morning light.
What gives me strength to live on.
Is it because I am scared of death?
Or I am too used to waking up the next day.
I sleep the night before
Only to know I'll wake the next.
Am I taking all these for granted?

Sometimes on days when my minds wander.
On days like today.
A long bus ride to a place unknown
I think of what my future will be.
Will I find love?
Will I even get married?
Will I even have children?
What if I don't?
What if I can't have what people take for granted?
What if I am alone?
Left to fend myself.
Left to face this world and only trust thyself.
Why can't I be like other girls?
Why can't I act like them?
Dress like them?
Why don't I dare to step out of my comfort zone?
My safety feelings.

As these thoughts come to mind,
again at the end of the day,
my heart cries for place to let go.
To let go of all this pain.

Scars tells a small story.
Many would see them as filthy.
But each scar carries a story.
A story others will never know.
My scar is one out of agony
One out of hatred
One out of giving up.
I look at them and remember  what I went through.
How I lived.
How I am now because of these scars.

Am I better?
No.
Do I feel stronger?
Yes.
Am I mentally fine?
Probably not.
I can never be fine but I can say that I have grown stronger.

My tears don't fall outside these four walls.
Emotions intact,
I won't drown.

Every night I battle with all these thoughts
Morning I wake up I wonder why I did.
Why think so much when life keeps moving forward?
Why think of tomorrow when it has not reached?
Why dwell on the past when its done?
Why think now when you can do nothing?

Though I told that to myself a hundred times
I am forever at war with this countless thoughts of mine.

Of shaping up and work...

The bright sun that outshines us all

The one who recently started doing push ups again
The one who's happy she got tanned
The one who's extremely tired

YO! Konnichiwa~~

Yeah..felt like adding some japanese in there..Haha,

Anyways,

Yes! I have started to do some push ups again to train my upper arms (it used to work and I hope it still does)
Funny how I know I should tone my stomach rather then my arms but I really have a complex with my arms
(especially my upper arms)
I feel the need to train my triceps and biceps. Hopefully I wont back out this time.
Cuz honestly I loved my arms before I injured my shoulders and stopped doing push ups.
But seriously, I almost died when I first restarted doing push ups...Is my body so heavy!? omg.

Can't wait for the holidays to come so that I can start cycling again.
I've been excusing myself from cycling these days because I'm so tired from work and school.
Gyudon ( Beef Bowl)  that I had on Thursday at a food court!!
Love love love  having half boiled tamago(egg) on my gyudons!

Speaking of work,
Sunday was incredible!!
I had so much fun working at the event!
Though it was tiring because I had to wake up at 4.30am and I barely slept the night before
because I was worried with everything that would happen on the day.
I reached tanjong beach, Sentosa at about 6am. It was so dark and creepy.
We were super busy for almost an hour. By the time the tents were up, the sun had rose as well.
Everything was fine until 10am. It was sooo friggin hot and sunny!
But being me, me who couldnt be bothered with skincare, I stood under the sun giving away wristbands
and watching people compete in swimming in the sea.
I was in awe of the swimmers.
They looked so awesome swimming from one end to the other
and seriously I salute them because I do not know how to swim.
I wish I could because I think being in water is so cool.
I finished work at the hottest time of they day 12.30 am and I definitely got tanned.
(Though my friend told me I was no different. But I could feel the tan embedded on me!!)

The wristbands we were giving out

Lastly,
yes I'm extremely tired because I had barely slept for 2 days.
Having woke up at 4.30am and I had things to do so I slept around 12 last night.
6 hours of sleep is not enough for one who used her energy on sunday.
Today's class was brain-draining as well (we had to learn about trademark laws, which is interesting by the way but very very contextual based)
Furthermore it was sunny again, I was very thankful that my school is air-conditioned.

View at 7am
Taken after the event, 12.30pm

Well I'm going to crash now so..

Cheers mates :)

[Awesome guy, Great singer, Superb performance on Letterman. Who knew such energetic music can be transformed into something like this? The original version of this song by the way is always on my playlist]

Active Legends, Shinhwa [神話]

When we think about boy bands from the 90s,
Names such as ‘Backstreet Boys’, ‘Nsync’ and ‘New kids on the block’ come to mind.
However, these days it seems that they have disappeared.

Nsync broke up, backstreet boys and New kids on the block have become inactive.

However closer to where I live, Asia, there is a boy band that has just celebrated their 15th anniversary.
A boy band that has a huge fan base (both the young and old).
From Korea, they are Shinhwa.

['Perfect Man' a song that came up to Number 10 on Singapore's Mandarin Charts in 2003]

Having debuted in 1998, they overcame the times when many other popular Korean bands such as G.O.D and H.OT broke up and are presently living up to their group’s name in being a Legend. (Or as a joke, idol fossils. Active fossils I must add)

With an average age of 33.3 years, Shinhwa is made up by  Eric, Minwoo, Dongwan, Hyesung, Jun jin and Andy.

15 years running in the music industry with no change in members and still sticking together after the members took a short break to fulfill their National Service duties, they are indeed a group that idols these days should look up to.

[A snippet from Episode 14 of 'Shinhwa Broadcast'. A variety show done with the Shinhwa Members]

What is their secret to staying so long?

In many interviews, they mentioned it was because they never kept quiet among each other. If they were unhappy with one member, they’d fight it out. If they had a problem, they’d speak out. When one was sad, they would go over to cheer them up. Overall, being frank among the members is the key to success.

Also, the members are more than just ‘fellow-members’ they are good friends, company and family for each other. They were under many different labels and eventually in 2011 they made a company under their name, Shinhwa companies for the group’s activities. Even though they were prompted money ( at times,  individually) they still stuck  together and Eric the leader, placed his member’s thoughts above others.

The different members each all have their own unique personalities and can be seen and understood more from their own variety show ‘shinhwa broadcast’ that is currently into its 53rd episode.

They recently also starred in Saturday Night Live Korea, proving to the audience and their fans that they are a well-diverse group and can do comedy sketches as well.

They will be making a comeback on M countdown this coming Thursday (16th May) with ‘This Love’.

[A/N: I personally love Shinhwa after watching countless episodes of shinhwa broadcast. I got to know them after I heard the song ‘Once in a lifetime’ on MTV. That time I did not really like Korean music but the song still stuck in my head but I didn’t give much thought. However last year when they came back with ‘Venus’ that was when I went oh, this group is awesome! Not to mention each members has very unique personalities. ^^]

Opening up my closet...Literally.

Greetings from the author's brother. Woof!!

The one who's happy that its a Friday
The one who finally didn't have to go to work
The one who then realized that on Sunday, she has to report to work at am.

Hey ya'll!!

Okay!
Before I even start babbling about my life please do check out this blog my friend had recently created.
This friend of mine is just a beginner at blogging but we all start somewhere don't we?
The blog specifies on fashion so all you fashionista readers out there (if there are any)
Please check it out! My friend will be posting regularly as well so check 'em out yeah!?

http://psychedelicfashion.wordpress.com/

Well since we are on the topic of fashion,
I though maybe it would be nice to talk about my fashion..
Well, honestly speaking theres nothing much to talk about the way i dress because I live by these rule.

1) Comfort over style
2) Suit what you wear with the weather if you don't want to suffer.
3) Checkered shirts are a must.

In conclusion my friends have came up with a name for my type of style.
Hobo fashion.
and i love it cuz it totally suits me.
So rather then saying this is a fashion post,
I would say that this is a closet post.
So....WELCOME TO MY CLOSET!

Okay it is a bit messy but i can live with it.
Its kind of crammed but what i wear daily to school and when I go out is all there.
I have a lot of long sleeved shirts & checkered shirts because I tend to wear it as an overall.
This is what i normally wear when I need to go somewhere or for a dinner.
To me wear a shirt over a singlet, pair it with jeans is so called 'hobo-formal wear'.
But i pull it off well so I tend to stick with it.

Items I can't live without.

1) Jeans.
My amazing collection of jeans. Jeans are the only thing I actually wear out ( other then on weekends. On weekends, I have recently started to wear shorts because I feel that my leg needs to breathe on some days). In the past I disliked exposing my legs because I felt that they were ugly and that habit eventually got stuck to me. However now I have moved from baggy jeans to a more "smart cut" type of jeans (not exactly skinny jeans cuz..my legs arents skinny) as I have gained more confidence in them.

2) Cardigans
I built this love for cardigans when I saw how Park Yoochun pulled it off just by wearing a plain white shirt, Cardigan and jeans.I was impressed by that and wanted to imitate it because it was such a smart look.
Also, I study in an air-conditioned environment so a form of cover  to fight the sudden cold is a must. Cardigans are light to bring around and its material is just nice to keep me warm throughout the lessons.

3) Checkered shirts.
I'm a checkered shirt fanatic..I'm not kidding. I have a total of 8 checkered shirts. I am not sure when this craze of mine started but before I knew it, I was buying one checkered shirt after another and I ain't stopping ><"

4) T-shirts
T-shirts are definitely a must-have item for me because they are easy to wear and in Singapore when it is summer 365 days, it is nice to dress with the least amount of clothes as possible. Since I have nothing to flaunt, T-shirts are the best item to wear in this hot and humid weather.

The shirts I normally wear

My collection of Checkered Shirts

The 'Band' shirts I own. I have a lot more
but i'm lazy to drag them out.

My favorite hoodie. I always bring it with me
when I go overseas.

My current favorite tank top purchased
 from Jay Jays

So now that I have introduced about the contents in my closet,
To those of you reading this post and owns a blog,
I TAG you...no no...I DARE you to show the world your closet.
Pick out your 'must have' item (show how much of it you have)
your favorite item, any special part you'd like to show and basically introduce how you dress yourself.
Who knows, we may be able to learn from each other
[though maybe you should not learn from me cuz..yeah..Im a hobo fashionista.Fun fact, nothing really pops out when you try and find 'hobo-fashion' on tumblr. I was a bit sad. ]
Do tell me if you take up this challenge because my friends always tell me I need to change the way I dress.

So anyways,
now you know a little bit more about me through the things I wear.
Basically I'm a very simple dresser and put little effort in it,
however I am slowly learning from my friends and adding a little bit more femininity in it.

Well then,
I'm done for today.

Cheers!

P.s I am giving away this cool cool cropped sweater away. If you are interested please tweet me or e-mail me. It has never been worn before.( lets just say I'm hulk and just by one look its impossible for me to fit in). Its a giveaway so it is entirely free. Once again hit me up if your interested!

Wednesday 8 May 2013

Of being sick and Drama babblings.

The one that looked after me sternly...Mr Batman!!

The one who woke up with a headache
The one who feels too lazy to go back to school
The one who's dealing with her inner self again.

Hey!
So yeah, I have been enjoying my 2 days off on MC.
Who am I kidding. I'm not enjoying it at all..
Coughing so hard that I feel that my throat's gonna come out.
Sneezing occasionally that gives me a headache
and I have a nose that I wish had a off button so that I can breathe.

Being sick is never a good thing  (nor is it a good scene),
however sometimes I'm glad that I am sick because
only when I am sick can I truly rest my body and have a break.

Due to the fact that I spent half the day yesterday queuing to see a doctor at the polyclinic
[which I must say was a horrid decision, now I know why that is not the place to go to if you are truly sick.
Not gonna go too deep and rage about it because I'm really too sick to even be angry]
My mum allowed me to rest another day today.
(Without MC too..there goes my B grade for Cross-culture)

So I spent the entire day yesterday sleeping after drinking the medicine ( I didnt think the medicine they give would be THAT effective honestly)
And today I spent my morning watching 'Flower Boy next door'

'Flower boy next door' is a typical romance drama.
If only life can be like the dramas; I might actually be more outgoing and have a chance to be attached with someone rather than my bed.

There are many times I watch a drama and go
"Oh seriously!?! Like really? I mean who would fall and end up kissing the person on the lips then fall in love and they end up together..COME ON! That will never happen in reality"
However no matter how ridiculous these dramas are,
I still end up watching them till the end even if it means sleeping at 4am in the morning with swollen eyes.
[People who knows me know that I rarely cry but seriously, in the comfort of my own room I cry like a baby when I watch dramas]

Some dramas I would recommend are

1. Rooftop Prince
[A romantic/comedic drama that will leave you in stitches and go "awww" then cry at the end because of all the sadness and betrayals.]

2. Missing You
[This drama is by far..like really BY FAR the saddest drama I have ever watched in my life. As I watched this drama on the same week it was released, I found myself crying boxes of tissue every Saturday night. It has a heart-wrenching  yet a really well-written plot. If you are looking for an excuse to cry, this drama is definitely for you. I would say that this drama is my most favorite for 2012]

3. Vampire Prosecutor 1 & 2
[Another drama that I felt was amazingly written and produced. From the action scenes to the different stories in every episode is interesting and not to mention how handsome Mr 'vampire prosecutor' is. I used to watch this in real time too so every week, I was really excited for the episodes to come out]

4. Tokyo Airport
[This drama is not in korean as you can see by the tittle. The drama is based in Haneda airport, an airport in Japan and shows about the daily happenings in the control tower. It is something that one can rarely experience therefore the drama was a real eyeopener for me. I remember watching this drama in one sitting during one of the modules I didnt like last sem (*cough*Marketing *cough*)

5. Strawberry Nights
[An exhilarating dramas that always features brutal murder scenes, so don't watch it over lunch or dinner. I love this drama because of the personality of the lead and the way they solve it every episode is interesting. It makes you want to watch it in one shot]

There are many other old dramas that I love and if you are interested here are the tittles.
Korean:
Personal Preference, Spy Myung Wol, Bridal Mask Flower Boy Ramyun Shop, Heartstrings,Sungkyungkwan Scandal, Reply 1997 ( this is highly recommended as well), The 3rd hospital

Japanese:
Sprout, Priceless, Hero (this is my ALL time faverite, its super old and I've watched it like 10times but i never get bored of it),Voice, Buzzer Beat, Densha Otoko,Code Blue, Jin

As for those who ask me, so since you've watched so much, you must be sick of watching dramas already.
My answer to that is NO.
I will never get sick of dramas because it is like the only thing I look forward to after a long day (especially if its a drama with my faverite actor and a good plot)
I guess no matter how unrealistic dramas may be, it is the only thing that can help me disconnect with the real world. I feel the most relaxed and just really be myself when I watch dramas.

So what dramas am I going to watch these days? Well I've already watched one that I wanted to, which was flower boy next door. The next are these few

-Iris 2
-Galileo 2
-Level 7 Civil Servant
-Kekkon Dekinai Otoko (The man who can't get married)
-Ten
-karamonov no kyodai

Sigh, but my schedules are getting busy these days so hopefully I do get to watch them...

Ok it was a long post today so..

Cheers!

Truckloads of Birthday wishes and What I have been up to.

A machine that we used to use to pay our bus fees
before it was changed to the 'tapping' version we currently use.
As a child. I loved to take the tickets that came out from that slot.

The one who's sick
The one who's lost her voice on and off
The one who's finally going to get a good rest tommorow

Wasssup!
I apologize for not blogging for many days but I have been on a tight schedule the whole of last week and the week before.
Basically I am helping out to co-ordinate an event and I fell sick (yes of all times, I fall sick now)
I haven't been getting enough sleep because I'm so busy and I didnt even get to rest on the weekends.

I feel sad because I couldn't celebrate my friend's birthday because of this stupid flu of mine.
My mom went all ninja on me when I asked her if I could eat dinner outside because I want to celebrate my friend's birthday with my buddies.
But anyways,

Happy Birthday to my dearest wifey Cheryl~~
She is a really sweet girl who puts herself before others. So a message to her is that she should pamper herself more this year and have a splendid year of being 19 doing reckless (minus the dangerous stuff) things before she turns 20 next year ^^
She has always took care of me when I was in her class the last 2 semester so I really appreciate whatever she has done for me. She is like the mother of the lamas but she is my hubby because she took care of me too well (and we made a promise to marry each other if the world ends because its too sad to die a single..haha its a joke though but the term wifey kinda stuck on so..haha)

Also a Happy birthday to my Boss, Ah-minq.
Her birthday was yesterday and she has been an awesome morning buddy. We always go school together in the morning and talk on skype randomly when we have the time and its awesome to talk to her because she has such amazing and hiliarous stories to tell each time we meet and talk.
My wish for her is to be more open and make more friends! You should talk to your classmates more and mingle with them. It was great to see you hanging out with your classmates last sem because I know for her it is hard to do so. She is the quiet type so, boss! be more outspoken!

Then lastly, a Happy birthday to my primary school buddy, Cheryl Yewwwww~~
Her birthday was yesterday as well, but I'm not sure if she saw my wishes but anyways, I wish you all the best in everything you do and also. dont ever feel that you are alone. I feel so happy when I see you on instagram with your friends because I know that now you are not lost but you have a sense of belonging and your friends will always be there for you. And smile more! Because you look the most beautiful when you smile. I'll be sending you a letter soon by the way~~

A picture I took one night on my way home from work.

So yeah that wraps up the birthday wishes I wanted to say.
What else have I been doing?
Oh yeah Work.

Taken at the 'expo' event we had over the weekends.
If you are interested do come and join the tech tour.
We will have it on the race day itself too.

Well basically I am just helping out at the booth of one of the sponsors so if you know who I am and is going to participate in the TriFactor swim event this coming sunday do stop by and say hi to me.
So to prepare for the event, I have been making trips down to their office after school and worked till about 7 or 8 before going home. So for the whole of last week, I reached home normally about 9-9.30 and have my dinner/shower close to 10 - 10.30. Its been mentally and physically exhausting.

However I like my job though its tiring and my colleagues are awesome people. (since I've known them for a few years beforehand) So working becomes less tiring when you are around awesome people.

Alright then, hopefully I am able to blog more often as time to come
and....

Cheers :)
