Of not posting lately and not sleeping...

Hello Reader-lings
Sorry for my lack of posting but I was busy preparing for my exams and yes.
I HAVE FINISHED MY EXAMS! Goodbye semester 2, more importantly goodbye to year 1.
Its amazing how time has passed.

Anyways since my last post,
One Ok Rock had released a new PV 'Clock Strikes'

A very different type of song and i really did not expect this kind of song from them but hey i love it.
Listen to tomoya's drum solo when they do the chorus, amazing.

Okays, so i will be on hiatus for probably about 2 days because i will be going for a class chalet
[Freedomm~~ whoop!! But aint gonna drink..got drunk that one time and it aint pretty man]
Oh did i mention I have not slept at all yet?
Not sure if its the side effects of the flu medicine (or did i drink the wrong one?)
or i was too hungry for my own good (for the fact that my last meal yesterday was subway at 6pm...)

So i kinda stayed up looking at my ceiling, playing my guitar, playing candy crush until my lives were burnt out, tried 4pics1 word only to get irritated, tried creating new beats on rhythm pad,
reading a book ('Argo' by Matt Baglio&Tony Mendez and 'Kill me if you can' by James Patterson if any of you were wondering),
listening to the radio and watching Pewdiepie.
Just like that 6-7 hours went by. Boom.

Anyone knows pewdiepie? If you do...AWESOME BRO!!!
Anyways so yeah i was watching his vids and came across 'cat mario'.
The game i so hate yet still play.
Yes i knew the game beforehand and i played it. I cursed. I thought why not play again.
So i spent 2 hours playing the friggin game and. YES. Its annoying.
Other games i played were slenderman, L4D2, some mini game the name i dont remember, i tried killing floor but i killed my friend's (he let me play his) character in less then 5mins.
However just before the school ended i recently got hooked to counterstrike to my classmates. yeap.
Crazy jump FTW.

To anyone who is interested in Cat mario here is the link
http://games.337.com/en/gameplay/cat_mario_
Good luck and i CHALLENGE you to NOT swear while playing..plus see how they count your 'lives' its pretty funny haha ><

In addition here is some pewdiepie for ya *Caution massive swearing so mute if you feel offended but its funny*

Cheers peeps!

Of my fave J-rock band. One Ok Rock

Hello World~~

So today,
apart from running around doing chores and go hunting for a new fridge
(cuz my dearest fridge has finally grew tired after 10years and started to break down)
I have finally watched One Ok Rock's Yokohama Arena Tour.
It was Freaking Amazing!!

Back story on how my love for One Ok Rock (OOR),
I came across them in 2008 or 2009 and loved their songs
after hearing 'Answer is Near'.
After all my buzz for them died because I didnt have anyone to spazz with then and i didnt own
a tumblr so eventually i started to loose track of their works.
However last year, i met this friend who loved all things Japanese and she told me OOR was coming to Singapore.
I thought well, why not go to their concert?
Its been a while since i last went for a rock concert and i used to like them plus their Japanese so i should go. And i went.

Some pictures I took at the amazing concert i went to

Ho-my-gosh was all i thought when i went for their live. It was friggin amazing.
Their songs were cool enough on records but LIVE they were mind-blowing.
annnndddd eventually i fell in love with the drummer (dont we all love drummers? No? well its just me i guess)
Taka,Toru,Ryota and Tomoya.
Their powerful performance and the fact that the venue was not that big made the live EVEN better.
Nobody would've understand how i felt until they went for their live and i really encourage you all to watch them live. If you cant DO listen to their songs then watch their live.

Left-Right: Tomoya(Dru), Ryota(Bas),Toru(Gui),Taka(Voc)

Some of my favorite songs from them is "Nobody's Home", "Answer is Near" and "Kaimu".
As i said...its just some..
However they recently released a new single and i like the track "Nothing Helps" from them as well.
That song by the way is in english so you can check it out :D

Back to Yokohama Arena Tour DVD.
It was amazing because all their live performances was in it and there was a documentary to accompany it.
They are so grounded, funny, heartwarming and you know, they are just themselves.
You can see how the band is everything to them.
Because of them i scratched the idea of backpacking in Japan to just watching all the summer festivals in Japan.
Hope that wish comes true cause i will need a lot of money and permission from my parents.
Haha. But i am determined to fulfill it after i graduate from Poly so yeapz.
Until then I am studying hard to read Japanese (cuz i can speak fluently but just last year started to learn to read and write Japanese..blame the fact that i had to learn chinese for 17 years)

Okay wow this post was long. Haha.
Sorry to have made you read so much but i really encourage you all to check out One Ok Rock if you havent heard them.

Rock On and Cheers.

[P.s the 2 videos below are my fave performances from them. Enjoy. Found ones with English Subs for you guys. ]

About a TV and Tests

So!
I have an awesome awesome AWESOME news to share today.
For all those people who loves Japanese variety shows like Music station and just ALL THINGS JAPANESE!
Good news!
There will be a new channel on starhub cable TV that is catered for the Japanese! (SCORE!)

Being half japanese and a drama/variety show lover I was so happy when i read the news yesterday.
It will start on February 25 (which is like in 3 days! Yay) and will be 24/7!!
You have no idea how happy I am, it is like my most wanted wish come true!!
I bet i will be lifeless and a couch potato during the holidays, watching show after show on TV.

Not like KBS, Mnet and One is enough to make me rush home to watch their programmes.
[My life totally revolves around Tv and I probably will be screwed when the holidays start]

So yea, look out for this channel guys!!

As for my day today, I took my Media and Society test today
and whoo was it very...confusing.
This module never asks directly from the 6P and I always end up racking my brains for answer.
I just hope I will pass this module.
Next to Cognitive. Okay dont get me started on cognitive or I'll go Ninja on ya.

Well, im done for the day~

Cheers.

Thoughts and experience as a student journalist

Hey alls!
So as part of my module i take,
I was given a mini side project of writing a pre-publicity material for Chingay 2013.
(Which I should say ain't mini at all)

It was definitely an awesome experience and really helped me to open my eyes to see what i have not seen.
To many chingay is just another parade and we just gather to see the performances occasionally.
However as I interviewed the performers (whom were really really nice, they really helped us out even though they were tired from the long hours of rehearsing so cheers to them!) i saw a whole new perspective of what Chingay was.
It is not just a parade to show off or anything, but it was a parade that came from the heart. The heart of the performers, the co-ordinators and everyone involved.
They strived on for just one reason "to put up a good show".
One performer i interviewed told me she joined Chingay after she watched it and that she got 'goosebumps' from it.
She was right, I felt the goosebumps when i sat and watch them rehearse.

Okay enough about my experiences.
Do check out Chingay if you got da chance and if im not wrong its on TV on the 24th?
I know that it will be happening on the 24th & 25th at the f1 pit building so look out for it yeah?!

I guess i wrote enough, enjoy the pictures below.
All were taken by me and they might be spoilers but i guess you can say that you should be hyped up for this year's Chingay as its gonna bring something new and awesome to you this year :D

Cheers!

A small "Did You Know?"
 • Chingay started out in 1973 to replace the firecrackers shows that was banned in 1972 due to safety precautions.
 • in 1985, it started parading around orchard Road
 • Behind the old Singapore $2 note there was actually a picture of Chingay!

Chingay Through my eyes

The city at sunset

The moon is excited to see the 1st full dress rehearsals as well

Rehearsals starting as the sun sets.

The moon shining brightly atop spotlights that gives a hazy feel

A highlight of the show during the opera performance

Students enjoying themselves though the rehearsals are long and tiring

School volunteers waiting for instructions

Spotlights shine brightest on the performers

Fire that reflects against the graceful dancers

A dramatic feel as the tai chi sword performers standby

The electronically lit dragon that captures many attention

The blue sea
Singapore Flyer

Snow filling the pit building
The source of the 'snow'
The moon among the 'snow'.

The moon shining brightly against the flyer

Waiting for rehearsals to start.
My energy buddy ah bian who went around interviewing with me

Ah bian enjoying the 'snow' like a teenager should.

Hi I am da Mozzy Mozster

Hey all,
Welcome to my blog.
Well first things first, who am i and stuffs like that is too boring so lets just cut that.
Its not my first time blogging, i've been blogging for a lot of years however i feel it was too much of a personal diary then a blog.
Now that i'm studying Mass Communications, i feel that if i want to blog i should blog right.
Soo...yeah here it is.

Some things about me?
I love music. Alternative rock to Kpop to Jpop to Jrock and currently J-indie.
So if you have any bands to recommand me or anything just leave a message below.
I might post a lot about music here i guess because its something i really love.

My dreams..
Well currently i really really want to go to japan and see all the bands i just recently discovered.
Meet them and watch them perform live.
Also i want to go for the many summer festivals they have..(I'm a huge One Ok Rock fan, saw them once need to see them again)
As to what i want to be, lets keep that question till after next year.

Another thing is that I'll try to post more pictures so that it wont be boring with just words.
I agree words are just not THAT appealing,
like if I type
Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah
you guys wont really spot it.

If you guys want to read my old blog, that probably wont go hiatus either because i still need
a ranting spot, you can ask from me. But i most likely will be mostly active here so yeapz~~

Well hope to entertain anyone who's reading~~

Cheers :)
