Goodbye 2013, Hello 2014

One of my Favorite Picture of the year
Taken in March on the journey back to Singapore from Parth

As the blog post tittle says...
Goodbye 2013, Hello 2014!!
Wow, it seems like with a blink of an eye, 2013 was gone.
It felt like just yesterday when I typed my post to reflect on the year 2012.
haha...I guess studying in Poly kind of screwed my years because we start school in April.
So for the past 2 years, I feel that the year starts in april instead of Jan ><"

Well this year, I honestly did a lot of things. I attended quite a number of concerts as well!
The first concert of the year for me was All Time Low's and I must say I almost died attending it (yes I still remember my experience there. Also, this year, I decided to attend Baybeats for the first time! And yes, I must say I will go again next year (especially to see the japanese groups that comes here to perform!!)
Another notable concert I went to was Music Matter', a free concert that was held at clarke quay. I went to watch flumpool and that was the first time I was ever so close to a band. Like literally they walked right in front of me to the stage..though I went just in time for their stage I was super surprised when they walked in front of my eyes. I honestly enjoyed myself that night.
The last concert of the year that I attended was the most fun and the one concert I was most satisfied with. One Ok Rock's concert. This concert was really memorable for me as I stood quite in front and also the fact that I was able to write a review and have it posted on my school's portal was what made me feel I achieved something. I think I wrote this before somewhere but rather then seeing my name there as the byline I was more happy of how my review was a featured review and one ok rock's concert picture dominates the top of the page ><.
Saw Tomoya up close and I still cannot get over the fact that our eyes met *spazzes*

So happy to see OOR graze the top page keke..Review's here

Also this year, I managed to go to Perth :D (though it seemed like last year because I went before the start of year 2) Honestly before going to Perth I dreaded the trip and the fact that I wasn't going with my parents made me feel a bit burdened. However it was interesting to travel without my parents however it was tiring to stay formal '24 hrs' because I went with my aunt and my elder relatives. If I had the chance I would not mind going again but next time maybe with my friends or with my parents. ^^

Probably my fave shot of a sunset for the year

I also spent most of my days juggling school and work during the middle part of the year and it was probably the most tiring time of my life. However all these work paid off as I look at the salary I received, also I gained a lot of experience that is helping me in one of the module I currently take. Hence overall, I am grateful to have taken the chance to work there and do the different events which allowed me to meet all sorts of people.

The last highlight of the year would probably how I have gained more freedom. It seems that each year, since I turned 18, my parents are literally giving me more space to breathe and I am thankful for the fact that they allowed me so much freedom now and I honestly appreciate it.

IN CONCLUSION
2013 was a year that opened up my eyes more. It also allowed me to experience a lot of things and see things from a different perspective. Though I barely had time for myself this year having to juggle school, work and social life, I would say that though I was tired I was still happy with how 2013 went and I hope that the year 2014 would allow me to experience new things as well.

THOUGHTS FOR 2014...
My 'list of things to do' in 2014 would probably not be much as the past years I have done alot of things I wanted to do in 2013. Anyways, here is my list for 2014:
1. To stay in shape
This resolution would probably never change even if I managed to stay in shape. Honestly I don't really care about my weight it is more of how I want to retain the lines on my stomach and get rid of the 3 level bulge my stomach makes when I sit down. Also I need to get rid of my flabby arms before my mom calls me 'aunty' again. However I find this resolution very hard to complete every year because of how busy I become when school starts. But I will try my best to stay in shape and stay healthy this year.

2. Go to concerts again
Another resolution that would probably retain for the next few years is to attend as much concerts as I can. So far I havent have my eyes set on any concerts but I am definitely waiting for VIXX to come now ><" haha..(my inner kpop soul has once again came out all of a sudden and I am now obsessed with this group). As excited as I am, I hope I can get to see some good bands again here live.

3. Go through internship smoothly.
Not sure if this can be a resolution but I honestly pray and hope I will get through my internship days smoothly. I do not know where I am working at yet but I hope I am able to cope and work there smoothly.

4. Fun Fun Fun
As busy as I would be next year, i still want to have fun. I wish that I will be able to balance school, social life and my personal time better. ( I mean I have a lot of shows/dramas that are waiting for me so yes I need more time for myself next year...)

5. Fifa World Cup
YES FINALLY THE YEAR FOR WORLD CUP!! I waited too long for this to happen haha..hope that I would be able to subscribe and watch the matches!! This would definitely be the highlight of the year!

So yes, I do not know what next year would have installed for me but either way I hope I will enjoy it as much as I enjoyed 2013 and may everyone stay healthy and enjoy the upcoming year as well.
There may be hard times but they will always pass. Before you know it, it would be 2015 *scary*

With that, I bid farewell and Cheers :D

Wednesday 25 December 2013

Bored this holiday? Here are my recommendations!!

Hey everyone
How has the holidays been treating you?
So far I've been busy and my week will be busier after christmas *sigh*
However, over the past few days I managed to squeeze some time to watch some shows!
I've been watching so much shows and completing a lot of dramas lately that my dark eye circles have grown to become worse. (and the purpose of this holiday was for me to get rid of those)

But what else could I do but to rest and watch some shows as I suffered a small stint of diarrhea and had to stay in bed (or the toilet) for 2 days.

Some dramas I have watched are:
1. The Heirs
(loads of handsome actors but honestly the plot just really makes you want to punch the wall..but what can I do..kim woo bin is in it haha)
2. School 2013
(This show kind of reminded me of my secondary school days)
3. Bel Ami/Pretty Boy
(This show is still ongoing and I just finished watching the latest episode today...so far so good!!)
4. Master's sun
(Very realistic ghosts and a good plot..though relationship wise between the characters made me want to punch the wall again)
5. Hanzawa Naoki
(A really good drama with a really good plot plus the scenes shot in this drama was well taken..however the ending was just urghhh...but overall I recommend this show a lot cuz it really was interesting)

Also, I have been catching up with the usuall variety shows I have been watching. Cool Kidz on the block has now moved on to basketball and they are actually winning in the games!! So happy for them because even for badminton or bowling they seemed to lost almost all the competitions. Guess basketball was their forte. It is sad though that suguen is out of the show due to his scandal though :/
My favorite show 2D1N had said goodbye to the old season 2 cast and have moved up to season 3. So far my feelings towards season 3 is mutual. Maybe because I am still not used to the cast, im not howling in laughter as I used to. Not to mention only 2 of the old season 2 members stayed on the show. Well, hopefully in time to come it would get better.
Of course the ever humorous show The Human Condition is something not to miss. This week their mission is 'living without stress' and the guest is Taecyeon from 2pm!! that is so cool..the first episode just aired so I cant wait for the next haha.
Another variety show that caught my attention was The return of superman. It showcases the kids of celebrities like Lee hwijae and Tablo! Omg tablo daughter is really cute and all the fathers on this show really do adore their kids so much. I truly recommend you to watch this show if you enjoy watching 'dad where are you going?'
(Image taken from viki)

Lastly, a show I had recently just started watching (I started a few days back actually) was 'Style Log'. I just came across it when I was looking for videos on Kim woobin and it was kind of interesting. They basically recommend the 'hot' fashion stars, news and just basicially anything that is a trend in the fashion world. They also showcase the hottest artists in korea.Though I am not a fashionable person, I love watching and reading things related to fashion so this show really intrigued me. Plus the background music they choose to use are really good. Therefore if you are interested in fashion, arts and models this show would definitely be for you.
You can watch it here at this site that I came across. (Thanks to the person who took the effort to translate them!!)

So those are my recommendations to you and a short write up on what I have been doing.
Hope you guys are having a good holiday and some rest or maybe travelling around the world (lucky you)
Well, I wish you a merry christmas and I will write again soon

Cheers!!

LLamas can party too

Hey all!!!
Christmas is next week!! Have you gathered all your presents yet?!
For those who haven't have fun shopping with all the sales going around now!
I basically bought 2 clothes for myself in the sale even though I overspent this month keke..
(inner girl coming out here)

Well, I had a busy yet relaxing week and also I had loads of fun.
Monday, I went shopping with my burden friend and did my nails for the first time.
You have no idea how awkward I was having someone do my nails,
however I am in awe cuz my nails came out super pretty ><
Not to mention, it only costs $7 :D

However that is not the highlight here in the post.
The highlight is...LAMA SECRET SANTA PARTY
I swear my mom was more excited then me for this day to come.
We started preparing from 12 and it was really fun.
The lamas came at around 4.35 after being caught up in a storm.
(The storm had really outdone itself that day, it felt like it didnt rain for 5 years!! Even with umbrellas we were all drenched from head to toe!)
We had dinner, chatted and just really had fun.
It has been a while since the lamas chatted together.
Since school is busy we really haven't sat down to have fun.

Then came the exchanging of presents and it was really funny.
Sadly my mortal knew it was me..and I guess my santa right!! hehe.
However to be able to wear the dress the santa gave  me, I need to lose my arm fats..
That could be my resolution for next year ^^/
After that it was the small gift exchange and honestly it was so fun!
The gifts I got was all so nice and that day, we really seemed like family.
I had miss the times when were all together having fun.

Anyways, I shall leave this post with the pictures from that day ^^

Cheers :D

Holidays are here!!

Taken by my 'burden' buddy QQ

Finally!!
The holidays are here!!

Been so busy since school started that I haven't a proper rest.
Weekends were gone in a blink of an eye and  the eye bags below my eyes darkened.
However finally, after 9 weeks I am going to get a good rest.
Though I have two assignments, 1 project and 1 photo essay to complete within the 2 weeks.
On top of that I better start building my online portfolio and printing out stuffs for my portfolio.

Why you so chiong you may ask?
Thats cuz I've been selected to go out for intern in the 1st semester.
Since it was something I wanted I ain't complaining (though that means I cant go for the school trip)
Hopefully, I can get through that sem smoothly and well.....
Other than that, I think I would be able to get some rest.
Not to mention, christmas is around the corner!! *claps*
Many presents to exchange~~

I got my first christmas present last Wednesday and it was so nice of my classmate to get it for me!!
Really appreciated it because I needed that relaxation packs. Haha.
Lamas secret santa is next week and I cant wait to give my mortal her present.
(Cuz I want to see her reaction towards it ><)

Oh also, I am super elated and proud of myself for having published something on the school's online paper >< *claps for self*
I was in awe when I saw my name there..
I was super happy because they accepted my review written for the One Ok Rock concert!
I mean when else would I have been able to write for rock concerts!?Not to mention concerts of my fave band. Wish in the future I could write more review for concerts.
I realized, at the end of the day I honestly love anything related to music and I wanted to do something related to music.

Well, hopefully I get to updated my blog more
as holidays are here
(though I cannot promise because as written on top I have many things to complete)
but hey! I will try my best..

I shall end this post with the pictures I have taken over the past few weeks ^^

Cheers :)

Five stones: Week 8's photography shoot!!

Reflections: Our lesson was to be on macro but I can't seem to get a hang of macro

Split Lighting: Week 7's photshoot, it was a really fun lesson for me
cuz we got to use Manda lights ^^

Split Lighting take 2

An image that really made me look nice keke.
Credits to elaine who took it so nicely.

Week 6's photoshoot: We were to shoot a fake band cover and make it look retro-ish
First lesson as a 'new' team (though we just changed 1 member)

This image was taken at the last minute and I really liked this
because the trees played a vital role and the viewpoint seemed interesting
(Yes I lied on the floor to take this shot)

Our shooting location was actually the Woodlands Industrial park
It was super fun exploring that area ^^
This was an abandoned building by the way.

This was probably taken in week 4 or 5.
Love the alignment of the shelves in the library.
Dont quite remeber what the lesson was on though.

Most Played This Week

Vixx

[I'm really into this group right now. I have liked them for a long time now after my friend recommended them to me last sem. However Voodoo Doll  is special to all starlights (Vixx's fanclub name) because they won their 1st award with this song..so yay!!
My personal favorite song from them is G.R.8.U & What to do
So do check these songs out!!]

Night

The night has always been calming to me since I was young.
I'm not quite sure myself why it has always been so.

Was it because of the darkness?

Or the fact that the dark skies with stars spreaded out made me feel free.

Or was it the fact that when night fell, everything just stopped.

The phone stops ringing, the parents stop fussing.. I was free like the birds that flew in the skies during the day.

When I was young, when night fell it was my time to feel free. Opening the curtains and lying on my bed thats placed beneath the windows to get a glimpse of the stars.

The stars were my company now and then.
Just looking at them shine gave me comfort.

As I grew up and everything around me became busy and fast. The night was the only time where everything stopped. It was also a time for me to divulge in things I wanted to do. Looking at the cars zooming on the roads. Either back home or to a night shift. Everything below was still busy but occasionally it just stops.
No cars, no sounds, just the stars, me and the occasional breeze.

When night falls I become someone else. I strip off every thing I show to others and just be me.

The weak and vulnerable one. The one who wants freedom. The one who wants to be cared. The one who wants to be loved. The one who does things that she dosent want others to see and be judged for.

No one smiles everyday nor care for others if one does not care for oneself first.

On days I cry, on days I laugh, on days I pray to stars hoping it might work. However, many times these days I breathe in chemicals to be one with the night and be lost in the darkness.

Freedom.  Safety.  Love.
These are what the night brings me.
They accompany this solemn soul of mine like how they probably have accompanied others.

insane friday night

Hey all!!
What a tiring yet insane day I had yesterday!!!
It had a balance of both good and bad but overall..it was just really insane

So it started off with me being super sleep because though I slept at around 2 or 3am that morning, I had to get up for school at 6am because my team and I were doing this project for my school's module. (I've been super busy this entire week and probably will be next week as well)

So I reached school at 7.30am did this event/project till 8.30am just in time for breakfast and class which started at 9.15am.
My mind was totally not in class as all I was thinking was the concert I was going to go to...yes...I went to a concert..

Whos you may ask..
Its no other then...ONE OK ROCK!!!
Yes!!! They performed again last night!!!
So, i left school at 12am and met vernice, my OOR buddy before heading to harbourfront. We then bought our concert needs (water and snacks def.) before walking over to sentosa to queue for the concert.
I was quite happy because we managed to queue in the first section though we reached at 2pm however it was suppppeerrr hot!!! I honestly couldnt even stop sweating for over an hour...

I would probably write my concert experience at my other blog that is dedicated for OOR (http://mozsterztrans.blogspot.sg)
But omg I was so close to them!!! And I think (no I believe I did) made eye contact with taka and my fave drummer tomoya. I was soooooo happy and I honestly couldnt take my eyes of tomoya...like everyone was following where taka went but there I was just staring at tomoya like some starstruck girl...
But yes I jumped (tried), fistpumped and screamed like no tmrw.
I really had an insane time and I was never so upfront before so...
One Ok Rock keeps breaking all my 'firsts' when it comes to concerts....they were the first japanese concert I atteneded and now, they are the first band i ever stood so close to..
Photo credit: Vernice for taking this..
My favorite passionate drummer, Tomoya
i totally forgot about taking pictures until almost the near end

I honestly had so much fun that I am currently suffering from post-concert syndrome..lolz.. I just wished that I met them though...like honestly, I want to just tell tomoya how insanely awesome is was at the drums, tell taka his screaming was just over the top, how sexy ryota was just coming onto stage shirtless and for how sleek toru was with his hair and guitar skills...Madness..

They said that they would come again, but here I am thinking if I would go again..and maybe I would..because now, I want to stand in the first row and I want to write to them messages too.

What's sad is that I had so much fun that I don't know how to write my review for the concert...it was supposed to be easy for me yet here I am struggling to put what I saw into words...le sigh...

Okay I guess that is all ^^

Cheers!!

Floating fun

So hey guys!!
Just like my last post I felt like posting up the pictures I took in class
and just bear in mind, in more posts to come
Most pictures would probably be from my Photography class.
So last week was on Motion blur/Freezing.
It was by far one lesson I had fun in as it allowed me to explore the camera features more in depth.
Also isnt it cool how you can freeze things with just a camera?!

On other updates , my most listened song last week was
Kill Paris- I do love you [Dubstep]
Cinema Staff - Great Escape [OST for SNK]

I guess thats all for today!!
Have an awesome week ahead!!

I enjoyed more of the pictures that Julz, my classmate and team buddy took for me.
Went through loads of trouble to get these shots but I like em so much and more then my own haha..

Friday 1 November 2013

"Pictures tell a thousand words"

So, I've been having a photography module this sem and omg so far its been an eye opener.
Though it is my second lesson, I have been learning to see things in a creative way.
Been enjoying the lessons so far and thought i should put up some of the pics..
cuz i'm really proud of it :)
Considering the fact i barely ever use Manual to take pictures and i'm still new in trying to use a DSLR to take picture..

Saturday 26 October 2013

Back from another rough week

Hey all!!
Back to do an update with 3 songs that have been stuck in my head :)
The first is R U Crazy by Conor Maynard.
I honestly didnt think this song would be from him so I was really shocked when I saw the MV for this song on TV. I liked it as it was frequently on the radio but I also dont seem to hear who sang it.
But either way the lyrics and the beat are good and the chorus just really sticks to me head.

The second is Pakistan by Mayhem X Antiserum. I rarely listen to Trap music and its even rare for me to listen to a Trap song till the end but this one is really good. I don't know the beat and the use of the effects just really draws me in..Its like it has this 'Swag' feel (excuse my use of modern language).

The third song is Great Escape by Cinema Staff!! I am so happy that the 2nd ending theme for Attack of Titan was by cinema staff!! I have listened to their songs before I realised they were used in the currently famous anime and their songs are really good. The lyrics and their songs kind of mix an indie and rock feel together. Theres  this light feeling in their music though its rock. To me, its very japanese (dont ask me to try and explain it..its kinda hard)

So yeap theres my weekend recommendation!!
This week for me was really tiring and stressful so I am glad its the weekend.
Really, if this is going to continue for the next whole sem I would rather just die.
The awkwardness, The sadness, The frustration,
All this emotion just came to me as each day passed.
Many times as I sat in class I asked myself
"What am I doing here?"
This became more often after I was asked the question "What do you like to do/What do you want to do in the future?" by my Portfolio supervisor.
I came into this course because I had no other place to go
and now I am at a dead end to find something I like.
Did I really choose the right path?
All these thoughts was what I struggled with the past week.

Hopefully as time passes things will be better.
Okay then till the next post!

Cheers!

Goodbye Holidays and Hello to a new term

Hey all!!!
Well, today is my last day of holiday and tommorow onwards its school all over again.
As every student should remember to make a 'BACK-TO-SCHOOL LIST"
For me I always tend to do a "Back-To-School-Playlist"

So, for today's post I will share with you all my back to school playlist.

A Skylit Drive

I happened to chance upon this band as I was scrolling through youtube again (as usual)
and some of their songs are a bit loud but hey, we need a little loud music to wake up to or
when you are frustrated after school.

Recommanded songs:
- Rise
-Just Stay
- Unbreakable

Switchfoot

I used to love switchfoot when I was younger and recently I decided to find some of their songs again.
Some of their songs like 'Awakening' is pretty refreshing.
 Recommanded Songs:
- Dare you to move
-Dark Horses
-Awakening
- Afterlife

Crossfaith

A band that recently came to singapore for a concert with Bring me the horizon and a band I am recently digging (ALOT). Crossfaith. A metalcore band that mixes the usual heavy rock sounds with some electronic music. Its kind of refreshing and new to me and so to those who likes metalcore but yet like electronic music, try listening to their songs. Also (being half jap) I'm super super proud for the fact japan has such a group. They even managed to go on Vans Warped Tour. Now that's a definite accomplishment for any band.

Recommanded Songs:
- Monolith
-Jagerbomb
- We are the future

Other Songs that are on my list

You Make Me- Avicii
Stay the night - Zedd Feat. Hayley Williams
Asu he (Towards Tommorow) - Galileo Galilei
BelovedxSurvival- Gero
Very Good - Block B
Shake the world - G-dragon
Do I Want To Know - Arctic Monkeys
A love like war - All Time Low  ft. Vic Fuentes
Guren no Yumiya - Linked Horizon
A light that never comes- Linkin Park feat. Steve Aoki.

So I guess that would be the end of my post today.
In time, I will try to update as often as possible
Cheers :D

Otaku Post: Recommanded Animes to watch

Hey all!!
Hope you guys had an awesome holiday the past 1.5 months ^^/
For me my holiday just started this week
(I only had to work 2 days!! Not to mention it was my last day yesterday. Gonna miss my workplace though it was tiring)
The past week has been fine, nothing much just that I got to rest a lot and I started to watch animes again.
Which brings me to the theme of today's post.
Recommanded animes to watch~~

Honestly, I normally don't like animes.
I feel that watching dramas are more worth my time.
However that does not mean I never watch animes,
I just don't really watch animes like naruto or inuyasha
(too many episodes and ridiculous way of speaking jap..no offence)

The first anime I watched until the end and even its 2nd season is 'Fullmetal Alchemist
I really loved watching it and it made me realise how animes are actually a really brilliant artwork.
But its been years since then and the anime I watched after that was Nuraihyon no mago (Rise of the yokai clan) which is pretty good too especially if you love supernatural stuffs.

BUT! The past few weeks I have been watching anime aimlessly again thanks to tumblr. (And also cuz there isnt any nice dramas out there, both korean and japanese, that are worth watching..yet)
I saw these awesome gifs of an anime and I found out it belonged to an anime called
'Attack on Titan' and OMG I never thought I would like anime again.
I finished the whole 'season 1' series already and honestly its very good.
Apart from the gruesome scene, the action scenes are awesome and cool.
So if you are looking for some action this is the anime for you (quite recent as well)

Anime Description: The series follows the story of Eren Yeager, his adopted sister Mikasa Ackerman, and their friend Armin Arlert. After the outermost Wall is breached by Titans, including the 60-meter tall skinless Colossus Titan and the abnormally intelligent Armored Titan, and his mother dying in the resulting destruction, Eren vows revenge against the Titans and later enlists in the military, accompanied by Mikasa and Armin. Years later during his first battle against the Titans, Eren discovers that he has the ability to transform into a Titan at will. Seen as a threat to mankind by some, and as a ray of hope by others, Eren joins his companions in a desperate fight to protect what remains of their society while looking for answers to the mysteries surrounding the Titans, the Walls, and his own existence as well.

Where to watch: http://tune.pk/video/90065/Attack-on-Titan-Episode-1-subbed

Next, I started watching GUNDAM again. I kind of watched it when I was younger but I stopped cuz I had no interest, but then I recently finished watching Mobile Suit Gundam 00, Gundam Age, Gundam Seed and Gundam Seed Destiny (Yes finished them all when each of it has like 40+ episodes)
I think my most favorite would be Gundam Age. The story was good (though long..it spanned over 3 generations) not to mention they used Spyair's My World as their 2nd ending theme song!!
However my most faverite 'Gundam' model would be the one in Gundam 00, though Gundam Age's Age system was pretty cool!!

Anime Series: Gundam Build Fighters, Gundam Seed Destiny(Season 1 & 2) , Gundam Seed, Gunpla Builders Beginning G, Gundam Age, Mobile Suit Gundam 00
Where to watch:  http://www.youtube.com/user/GundamInfo

Then I watched BTOOM! and honestly I didnt like it. It was boring, cuz its like Battle royale and hunger games. But if you like such plots, I guess its good?

Anime Description: Ryōta Sakamoto is an unemployed 22-year-old who lives with his mother. In the real world, there may be nothing really special about him, but online, he's one of the world's top players of the combat game called Btooom!. One day, he awakes in what appears to be a tropical island, though he has no memory of how or why he has come to be there. While wandering around, Ryōta sees someone and calls out for help. The stranger responds by throwing a bomb at him. Ryōta soon realizes both that his life is in danger and that he has somehow been trapped in a real-life version of his favorite game. In the game Ryota meets Himiko, who is another Btooom! gamer — and supposedly Ryota's in-game wife.

The latest anime I just finished watching was 'Brother's Conflict' and omg I rarely watch romance anime (cuz I would rather read the mangas and novels) but this was goooood. All the characters are 'ikemen'(idol-like looking guys aka handsome) and though the plot makes you go "ya serious bro!?" but if you just want something to watch, something to relax to, this is kind of nice. Not to mention the Anime's Opening song is good!!

Anime Description: Ema Hinata is the daughter of the famous adventurer Rintarō Hinata. One day, Ema finds out that her dad is going to remarry with a successful apparel maker named Miwa Asahina. Rather than bothering them, she decides to move in to the Sunrise Residence complex that is owned by Miwa. From there, she discovers that she has 13 step-brothers.

Where to watch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KkktNlrg9Z0

Okay so here comes the end of my 'otaku' like post and do comment on this post if you have some nice animes that you think I should watch. Latest ones would be good, however I'm quite picky when it comes to animes so..Haha!!

Cheers!! :)

Holiday Post

The one who has barely blogged over the holidays is finally blogging now!!
I'm here to do a massive post again cuz honestly my blog has been stagnant for a while.
Also I realised I didnt do a monthly picture post so I thought I'm just going to do a Holiday picture post.
Basically I am just going post the things I have been doing this holiday.
(Which later you will see but it revolves around work, work and more work)

 Skies & Sunsets

The month of september, I remember it being hot but around the last week of september it started to rain once in a while. However still I got pretty decent shots of the sunset from time to time.

For the month of the october, I managed to take a shady picture of the sunrise (Due to the heavy downpour before the sun came up)

Overall, honestly each day I was happy to see the sunset because it meant I finally got through the day.
But really, the past few weeks have been tough for me because I had work constantly and waking up was hard.

 Food

The top left picture was my dinner at Brozeit which is where my parents celebrated their wedding anniversary (They brought me along though I told them to just go themselves). Had awesome german beer which I had fallen in love with. The food was not to bad.

This holiday I ate alot at home because I was too tired to eat and it seems that everytime I ask people if they want grab dinner they are busy. I seem to always ask people at bad timings.

Then on off days, I tend to grab a drink alone (cuz no one is free again or I just became too lazy to ask anymore) I recently tried this tequilla sunrise thing and I will never ever touch it again. It tasted terrible..to me at least. I can never like hard liqour unless someone mixes it for me..

Lola's Cafe

On one of my off days, I went to visit this cafe with cheryl. The Cafe is just a few minutes walk from Kovan MRT Station. We ordered some food. (Well we thought it was 'some' but honestly we over-ordered. Fries Overload). Their nacho fries were awesome..I think they were called nacho fries..and their Latte was not so bad too.

It was one of those rare days I got an off day so it was nice to just hang out somewhere quiet.

They had a unique table as well!! It seemed to be an old sewing machine that had been reused as a table..

Overall it was a good experience though I feel bad I couldn't finish the food.

Well as I said, the month of September and October was the months of work. Though it was tiring and honestly I felt like I had no life, cuz I couldn't get a rest at all this holiday, after each event was done, I felt so happy.
The Tri-factor series has finally ended and it ended with a special visit by Allan Wu and Bobby Tonelli. They are really handsome in real life.

I then got to see what Mountain Biking is all about when I helped out at the session with the pro whereby the pro taught some tips to regular mountain bikers. It was really cool to see them in action. (Yes I timidly trekked down the hill to see what was going down)

Then recently, we just finished our last big event which is the Golf Day. It was fun but tiring and really I got sleepy there. But it was nice because I got to talk to alot of people (which is rare for me because I don't normally like human interaction).

This week should be my last week working so...hopefully I can get a decent rest when school reopens and I don't have to rush around anymore.

So that was my picture post for the holiday month.
And I still have one more week of holidays to go.
Hopefully next week I can fall sick and just stay at home all day.
I really miss just lazing around and I am just sad that I can't do that before school reopens.
Anyhow, have a great day ahead
Cheers :D
